March 13 - Field Trip

(Details to be discussed during the block)

P.S. For this field trip, the teens from our lost media class requested to visit the Film Development Council of the Philippines. We were welcomed by the warm staff of the Philippine Film Archive and we learned so much about the process behind film restoration and archiving, and the cultural and historical significance of film. We also loved the two short films we watched at their cinematheque. It was especially interesting for our teens (and even parents!) who are into filmmaking, local history, and editing.

March 25 - Send-off

Since a lot of our teens are moving on to senior high school and college, we’re holding a special send-off for them. This is also a send-off for the mentors who are moving on to their next adventures. It will be discussed throughout the block if this is going to be an in-person or online event.
